However this video has cleared up A LOT of thing for me and I know have a much better understanding off most of the things that go on in the game and it was absolutely fascinating to learn all these details. I am not pretending to understand everything thats going in FF7R or knowing whats going to happen in future installments, but thats part of the fun for me. Its for those who enjoy digging into theories and connecting dots trying to make sense of all the information that is given over the years in games, books, interviews, ultimanias, trailers, etc. Obviously this is not for those who think that the story is too convoluted or that Nomura and friends are up their own arses. who is talking to cloud during the bombing run or right before seeing Aerith in the church).
And actually figuring out stuff about the original (e.g. This video was helping me a lot with understanding remake. Its a bit like science where you can observe certain events or behaviors, you might even be able to explain some of them, but youre missing that one big theory that connects them all and just makes everything click and fall in its place. But even after watching lots of videos and discussions about the game, its themes and the connection to all the FF7 related stuff there were still so many things that were hard to explain. I guess most people know by now that Remake isnt so much a remake but actually a sequel.
Now I know FF7R get a lot of flag for its twist and turns when it comes its story telling and changing things from the original.
